The MWM Air+Oil lubrication system is used for the protective lubrication of the master gear, which can have different tooth widths.

Noise Vibration Harshness is a method of investigating the vibro-acoustical behavior of a single component or of an assembly. Basically, the concept of NVH testing is to stress the gears by applying rotation speeds and torque values similar (or even higher) to those that are applied in the real working conditions.

The gear (workpiece) that has to be inspected is meshed with a dedicated master gear in a configuration that is attributable to the Single Flank operating condition (the center distance is fixed).
The output parameter is the angular acceleration of the part (or master), evaluated instantaneously and in the long run with the use of encoders (TE inspection) and torsional accelerometer (TAC inspection).

The use of minimal air+oil lubrication allows small amounts of lubricant to be applied to protect the gear surface. The result is a blast of air that provides continuous lubrication without the formation of a polluting mist, since the lubricant remains in a liquid state.

The MWM air-oil lubrication system is equipped with a touch screen panel connected to the system's internal PLC. Using the panel it is easy to vary the lubrication parameters and select the number of lubrication points that must be activated.

The MWM air-oil lubrication system is equipped with 4 air-oil mixers with streak sensors, which can be activated manually via touch screen or automatically by the NC of the Marposs N62 MVH machine, in order to generate a lubricant jet impression suitable for the width of the tooth to be lubricated.
